Cancelling a reservation for events with 50 persons or more:
Each reservation can be cancelled without cost at least 28 days in advance. If the cancellation is done less than 28 days in advance, 75 per cent of the reserved catering option will be charged and if there is no catering, Rent 2 will be charged.
Confirming the amount of people for events with less than 50 persons:
The amount of people must be confirmed by 4 pm on the Friday of the previous week before the event. If the amount of people is significantly less than originally assumed, Oy Botta Ab has the right to move the event into a more suitable space. Catering will be charged as mentioned in “Catering for Events”.

Catering for Events
Food and drinks as well as a preliminary schedule and technical services must be agreed with the sales personnel of Oy Botta Ab at least 30 days in advance, unless otherwise agreed upon making the reservation or placing the order. If the event has not food catering (i.e. only coffee, tea, sandwiches, cocktail catering, etc.), the event will be charged according to the amount of people confirmed upon ordering. Toasts and drinks as well as wines opened according to the amount of people confirmed will be charged in the same manner. If the amount of people in an eating event is smaller than confirmed by the dead line, a minimum of 95 per cent of the originally ordered catering will be charged. We do not pack leftovers.
Privacy – reserving the whole Banquet floor of Oy Botta Ab’s Ostrobotnia to ensure
If the client wants to ensure that there are no other events in the other Cabinets at the same time, the client must check this when ordering. Oy Botta Ab will charge the client also for the empty spaces regardless of the value of the catering/other service.Setting up and dismantling of equipment Oy Botta Ab will charge rent for any times during which a facility is used for setting up or dismantling of equipment. Times to be confirmed upon making a reservation.
Performers
The client is in charge of all of the expences caused by their performers or programme producers. The client is also in charge of all and any damages that the performers or programme producers cause to the staff, premises and/or equipment of Oy Botta Ab.
Open flames and fire, such as fireshows or pyro technical effects are strictly forbidden on the premises of Oy Botta Ab. The client is also in charge of all and any extra cleaning or repairs that decorations and effects used or programme performed at the event will cause. Examples include cleaning confetti and streamers or removing balloons from the ceiling. DJ’s are to be ordered through Oy Botta Ab.
Technical equipment
The use of the light, sound and other technical equipment (excluding the data projector/plasma screen) located at Oy Botta Ab’s premises requires the presence of one of Oy Botta Ab’s technicians. Prices can be checked on this website.
Only Oy Botta Ab’s own or hired staff will work in all and any events organised at Oy Botta Ab’s premises as a dj/techician, in the kitchen, restaurant bars and other areas of the restaurant as well as in the cloak room and at the doors. The client of an event manager working for the client cannot bring their own, outside staff to work in the afore mentioned tasks at Oy Botta Ab’s premises.
Oy Botta Ab’s general terms of invoice are:
Cost of invoice 3,50 €, payment due 10 days net, current interest on overdue payments.
Invoicing must always be agreed on with the sales staff at the latest when confirming the reservation.
Oy Botta Ab has the right to require 50 per cent of the catering to be paid as a deposit on the next day after confirming the amount of people attending.

Cash. Please note that catering will always be charged with one bill. Domestic bank/cash cards. Creditcards: Visa, EuroCard, Mastercard, American Express, Diners. Identity may be confirmed when paying with cards.
