Armi Harmio

Armi Harmio is a multi-dimensional artist, where time, emotion and story are intriguingly intertwined. Born in Paris in the early 20th century, she is 27 years old and living in Helsinki in 2025 – and in the future, her story is already written.

Armi Harmio’s voice is her most powerful instrument – its crisp vibrato transports the listener directly to the golden age of Finnish disco and the smoky clubs of 1920s French cabarets. Her music evokes a vintage atmosphere, but the lyrics are set in the present day – a time when discussing difficult things is increasingly important. Armi’s music deals with the darker side of life: depression, trauma and social ills. But these themes are accompanied by hope, love, the joy of self-discovery and the small miracles of life. All this is woven together like a theatre play, with Armi herself as protagonist and dramaturg.

Admission is free – but we recommend arriving early, as the Manala bar tends to fill up on club nights. We do not take reservations for the bar side.
