Little Willie Mehto, aka Ville Mehto, has performed at numerous blues events in Finland and Europe.
The latest star of the Finnish diamond-hard blues scene represented Finland last year at the European Blues Challenge. Touching deep blues roots, Little Willie Mehto takes the audience on a Delta Blues journey spiced with harmonica and cigar box guitar.
Alongside his songs, Little Willie Mehto performs country and delta blues classics in the spirit of Muddy Waters, Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee and others. Little Willie’s prowess on slide guitar and drums is reminiscent of great masters such as Robert Johnson, John Lee Hooker, R.L. Burnside, and Bukka White.
