Devilish time since 1970. Oy Botta Ab is an established restaurant company owned by three Ostrobothnia Student Nations from the University of Helsinki.

Botta’s restaurants are steeped in history but looking forward: the legendary Manala Restaurant & Bar serves food and drinks almost every day of the year, over 50-year-old St. Urho’s Pub a.k.a. “Urkki” is filled with beer lovers every few nights, Botta Events’ versatile meeting and event venues host memorable events, and the family’s newest member, Dagmar Bistro & Wine Bar, serves favourite dishes and splashy wines.

Ostrobotnia building

The Ostrobothnian students built the Ostrobotnia building in Etu-Töölö, Helsinki, in 1912. Since then, there have always been restaurants. The current restaurant company, Oy Botta Ab, was established in 1970 to manage and develop the hospitality business in the Ostrobotnia building.

Oy Botta Ab is owned by the University of Helsinki’s three Ostrobothnian Student Nations: the Etelä-Pohjalainen Osakunta (EPO), the Pohjois-Pohjalainen Osakunta (PPO) and the Vasa Nation (Vn).
