Oy Botta Ab

Going wild since 1970. Oy Botta Ab is a severe restaurant company owned by three student nations of Helsinki University.

Botta’s restaurants are steeped in history, but looking forward: the legendary bar and restaurant Manala serves food and drink almost every day of the year, over 50-year-old St. Urho’s Pub or “Urkki” is filled with beer lovers every few nights, Botta Events’ versatile meeting and event spaces host memorable events, and the family’s newest member Dagmar Bistro & Wine Bar serves up favourite dishes and sprawling wines.

Ostrobotnia House

The Ostrobotnia building was built by the Ostrobotnia students in Etu-Töölö, Helsinki, in 1912. Since then, restaurants have existed, and Oy Botta Ab was established in 1970 to run them.

Oy Botta Ab is owned by the three Ostrobothnian Nations of the University of Helsinki: Etelä-Pohjalainen Osakunta (EPO, The South-Ostrobothnian Nation), Pohjois-Pohjalainen Osakunta (PPO, The North-Ostrobothnian Nation) and Vasa nation (Vn).
